I’ve seen a lot of scenarios where Techie is Hux’s brother that he didn’t know about, but is there anything that explores him being a body double? Perhaps cloned by Brendol as a contingency plan when Armitage was still a child in order to secure the prosperity of his legacy, but Techie’s viability as a convincing double is ruined when he’s in an accident that blinds him and forces him to get retinal implants so he’s ultimately discarded and sold off to slavers or somesuch, only to be discovered by Kylo and/or Hux decades later when they’re taking control of whatever planet he happened to end up on.
