I feel like all Kylux fans are low key afraid that Hux will be killed off by Snoke in the very beginning of VIII as a punishment for the Starkiller disaster. But literally nothing will make the Dark Side look less competent than killing their most competent villain. Seriously, literally all progress they made was because of Hux, and he was the least guilty for the
Starkiller disaster.
What Hux was meant to do in TFA:
- Be a side villain
What Hux actually did:
- Destroyed a star system which puts him with the likes of such Dark Lords of the Sith as Exar Kun and Naga Sadow
- Destroyed the capital of the Republic in the process
- Destroyed Republic’s fleet
- Fed a star to his pet project
- Probably killed more people than any other villain in SW movies before
- Saved Kylo’s ass from exploding with the Starkiller
What Kylo was meant to do in TFA:
- Prevent the Resistance from getting the map to Luke
What Kylo actually did:
- Exactly the opposite
- Killed Han, but failed to level up from it
- Helped to destroy the Starkiller by bringing Rey there and not alarming Hux about the sabotage
- Put Finn in coma (but he will be fine)
- Get his ass kicked
What Phasma was meant to do in TFA:
- Her job
What she actually did:
- Asked Kylo what to do
- Jumpscared Finn
- Went down like a bitch
What Snoke was meant to do in TFA:
- ???
What he did:
- ???
- Fucked up a perfectly good kid
- Bitched at Hux
You take Hux out of the equation, and all the First Order achieved in TFA is killing one old smuggler and putting a traitor in coma. That’s pathetic. They had thousands of soldiers, the Starkiller, Resurgent-class Star Destroyers, a Sith wannabe, and their total body count is 1,5.
Hux is officially the best asset the First Order has, and if Snoke will kill him off, Leia will personally send him a “Thank you” card.

“That’s a stupid idiom to use in this sit- oh, you meant it literally…”

“Correct me if I’m wrong, but to get any usable data-output you have to turn it back on. Not just the secondary OS, but the whole thing. Fully functional. How is that safe exactly? For you – or anyone in this complex?”
“I’ll do it in an isolation chamber.”
“With a PX-45 blaster at the ready.”
“That’s overkill.”
