omg yes. I have this hc that when the biochip recall happened, Koller being the mad scientist that he is, just datamined the replacement out of intellectual curiosity and immediately figured out what it was so he uninstalled it himself. He warned a handful of his augmented friends on the DL but knew he couldn’t go public with it or tell too many people because if TYM/the illuminati found out what he knew they’d send mercs after him. So then when the incident happened, he felt really guilty watching an entire society destroyed when he’d known the danger all along but was powerless to do anything about it.

I just finished Deus Ex and…..man idk. I feel like I missed a bunch of stuff and still have a ton of unanswered questions, but something tells me that’s not gonna change on my second playthrough. I wanna shoot for pacifist again – for real this time (I was doing so well….but then after the city lockdown, I got….so pissed off at all the racist cops that I …kind of…accidentally…unloaded a 10mm in one’s face long after he was dead and just….went Rambo on their asses WHOOPSIE). I’ll do better next time…I’ll…show some restraint. >.>

anyway I DON’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT. Instead I’m going to share some soft vacdam fic ideas because I feel dead inside (how I managed to keep Koller alive through the end of the game is beyond me…I have a feeling it’s because of one of the many things I missed in my first playthrough and that he’s gonna get deaded the next time around T_T)

– Koller drags Adam to that rave in the Čistá district and ends up having a bad Neon reaction (Vaclav you idiot, why tf are you doing Neon???); Adam carries him home and stays up all night and takes care of him and basically makes sure he DOESN’T DIE

– Adam saves all the Neuropozyne he finds for Koller, since I get the feeling most of the product Koller gets his hands on is extorted out of him by Radich/the Dvali. Sometimes if Koller neglects himself for too long and is in too much pain/too sick to inject himself, Adam has to do it for him and look after him until he gets better

– When Adam sees Koller’s picture on the “Shit List” wall in the office in Otar’s casino, he freaks out and tries to convince him to come stay at his place for a while where the Dvali won’t find him but of course he refuses because if Radich can’t find him, he’ll be in a lot of trouble so….Adam basically….takes one of the tranqs out of his rifle and….drugs him. And drags him back to his apartment like a goddamn caveman. Koller is….really pissed when he wakes up lol.

– Radich …uses Koller in more ways than one. 😦 He doesn’t talk too much about it but Adam’s pretty good at putting the pieces together, so he’s always there for him whenever Koller needs a safe place. Since sex isn’t important or necessary to Adam, Koller feels especially comforted around him.

– Since Koller gets frequent nightmares and avoids sleep until he’s literally stumbling over, Adam sticks around sometimes to remind him to get some rest and stays with him through the night so he feels safe enough to close his eyes ^_^

They are schmoopy soft babs and I love them and they protect each other. :3

Now I’m all paranoid and super afraid to leave this kid and don’t wanna do any missions that take me out of Prague. Came back from the GARM facility and expected the worst, but he’s still just shuffling around being a silly little cyber hipster weirdo. ❤ I am so relieved

I have half a mind to knock him out and drag his ass all the way back to my apartment and risk getting spotted by cops during city lockdown BUT U CAN’T DRAG BODIES UP LADDERS AND THAT’S THE ONLY WAY OUT OF THE FUCKING DUNGEON

In other news, I have my next fic idea lolololol
