God. That scene when Venom brings Volgin back to the base and Ocelot’s like “I barely recognise you, Colonel” and there’s just so much seething contempt in that one word and then he makes a snide, dismissive comment about Skull Face using him and just…walks off
That one scene is so profound and emotional, like. I can imagine Ocelot going back when no one’s around and just unleashing a hateful diatribe at Volgin’s body and there are probably tears and shouting and omg I wanna write fic about it
