Imagine Medic and Kaz almost getting caught. Like, they’re just cuddling in bed or something and Big Boss comes (because I can’t really see him bothering to knock on Kaz’s door). Medic barely has time to dive under the bed before he sees him, and then has to stay silent while listening to Kaz getting fucked through the mattress

They both know Kaz’s quarters aren’t safe, so they don’t typically… fraternize there. Sometimes they’ll sneak into an empty room on the medical platform, or Medic’s own room because he’s Mother Base’s attending physician/chief of staff so he actually gets his own quarters and it’s pretty much their safe place. =D

Kaz totally loves the thrill of possibly getting caught though, so sometimes they’ll fool around in places where they might be found out. BB actually even catches Medic edging a naked Kaz in Kaz’s quarters once, but medic is a smooth motherfucker, keeps a totally straight face and plays it off like Kaz had an embarrassing medical problem and preferred to be seen in the privacy of his own quarters and BB doesn’t even question it. He actually thanks Medic for being so sympathetic to Kaz’s need for discretion and commends him on his impeccable bedside manner, and Kaz nearly explodes from suppressed laughter.

Additionally, because Medic is kind of a savage when he needs to be, any time he’s had to hide at the last minute and listen to BB get a little too rough for comfort with Kaz, or ignoring Kaz’s safeword/no, he later gives BB a run for his money during training sessions, CQCs the living fuck out of him and regularly gives BB the beating of a lifetime when they’re sparring on the beach. BB totally admires having such a competent soldier (He was always the best man we had), has no idea it’s secret revenge, just kinda grunts and takes it when Medic is a little too rough for comfort when patching him up afterwards.

(Kaz regularly jerks off to memories of Medic beating the crap out of BB)

Okay so Boss can be pretty unobservant, but do you think anyone else at MSF guessed about Kaz and Medic? Is there a base-wide rumour mill and betting pool? Bets on how obvious they’ll have to be for Boss to figure it out, when he’ll find out, how many things will get broken when he does… Secret shipping wars, medic/commander vs boss/commander and Medic treating injuries from the fights that keep breaking out over it?

A few of the soldiers on the medical platform notice the commander coming around way more than he needs to and they figure it out, but it’s kind of a small circuit of people who know, and they’re pretty discreet about it since they just assume something’s happening but never have it confirmed. They just kinda smile and roll their eyes at them, or they start feeling really awkward and try to stay out of it, so there’s not a whole lot of gossip. It’s kind of like a Jim/Pam situation almost, except without the unrequited torture. =D AND LIKE THERE’S ONE PERSON WHO IS TOTALLY IN ON IT who is very important to the story that I haven’t written yet, but I’M NOT GIVING ANYTHING AWAY.

I can totally see that happening though, especially since some people might be petty and vindictive and threaten to out them to BB, so medic placates them by being a good sport and taking extra care of their injuries and negotiating with them (and by ‘negotiating’ I mean giving them that Korean War murderdeath stare and asking with a very low, threatening tone of voice if he can count on their discretion) right as he resets a broken bone or something. Not that he’d ever genuinely hurt them, but just making it known that he could.

*toes the ground* are- are you gunna write more of /that kink/ for medic/Kaz? *slowly descends into a hole in the ground*

IDK MAYBE. I mean, it sure was fun to write for mkaz, so perhaps.

*creeps in and whispers* MSF boys go outside to a local bar and somebody else starts flirting with Medic. Kaz didn’t realise he could get so insanely jealous until Medic casually flirts back and gets dragged home by pissed off Commander Miller

Oh man and Medic has GAME, too. He’s been peacocking in the clubs since before he was old enough to drink so he works that coy act that has everyone chasing after him. Even the women are like

and Medic pretends to be oblivious to it to avoid awkwardness but Kaz is envious at how easily Medic seems to seduce people when he’s not even trying ^_^ ^_^

Hi, I just wanted to ask how the next chapter of Broken Adonis is going? I’m not trying to rush you, I promise. I know it’ll be good no matter what :)

I’ve got parts of it written, somewhere around 5000 words? I’ve got a general outline for how the chapter’s gonna go but I’ve put it on hold for a few days while I finish the last chapter of this other fic I’ve let lapse for five months 😰 I feel really bad ‘cause I left everyone hanging at the very very end and then went off to write MGS and now the fic’s reached 5000 views and no update since 2015 whoooops 👀👀👀

With the whole Kaz seeing heat signatures thing, I like imagining mother base getting attacked in thick fog, not even the skulls, just regular humans attacking in really think fog, thinking they’ve got all the advantages, and The Diamond Dogs can’t see shit, and then Kaz just shoves his glasses up on top of his head, pulls his gun out and fucking head shots /everybody/ XD. Sorry, it just amuses me, Kaz smacking a surprised looking corpse with his crutch while the men all stare at him in shock

tbh I……actually have something very similar to this planned for the story

I feel like a lot of post-PW Kaz is characterized as just this vulnerable salt wife mother hen type (which is also good), but I have…. PLANS….on emphasizing that he’s still very much capable of actively defending his men and his home despite his disabilities. I mean HE CARRIES THAT GUN SO CLOSE FOR A REASON

Would Boss know about Kaz and Medic? What if he got jealous?

In my particular mkaz universe, he isn’t aware. Kaz and medic both know it would probably be in their best interest to keep things secret, especially with as passionate as their relationship ends up becoming and how Kaz tends to immediately go to medic for comfort and aftercare from BB’s abuse. 😰 I hinted at BB finding out much later in my bbkaz fic that I wrote a while back, but that doesn’t happen until just after the events of TPP. And he’s definitely jealous, but sort of impotent to do anything about it since he’s still supposed to be disappeared at that point so he kind of just has to scowl at them from a distance and suffer 😄😄
