like that scene before William enters the park and the Host asks him whether he’s gonna go white hat or black hat, I can totally imagine try-hard gamers being like

“You’re gonna make me choose at the beginning? Can’t I just….make that choice on a case-by-case basis while I’m in there? Am I committing to a full pacifist run here? Because that’s not a promise I think I can keep”
